HealthIL is the leading Healthcare Innovation Ecosystem in Israel, aiming to foster technological transformation in healthcare systems, both in Israel and globally. HealthIL is operated by 8400 and supported by the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Health, the Israel Innovation Authority and the Joint.
Our mission is to improve healthcare by bridging the gap between healthcare systems and technology, building innovation infrastructures, and addressing regulatory hurdles. Since its establishment in 2018, HealthIL has made a significant impact in driving innovation in Israel's healthcare system.
Through our support and leadership, the number of innovation managers in healthcare has grown from 4 to 126, and the number of startups and tech companies providing healthcare solutions has increased from only 370 to over 1,100. Our efforts have led to more than 1,300 pilots to date and hundreds of implemented projects.
HealthIL has led many initiatives, including various delegations for knowledge sharing, workshops and round tables on innovation management and fostering partnerships. Through these activities and an ecosystem-to-ecosystem approach, HealthIL has established itself as a key player in the global healthcare landscape, actively contributing to the advancement of healthcare systems worldwide.
Over the years, the HealthIL team has promoted flagship topics of national and global importance, such as: Health Equity, Burnout of Healthcare Employees, Elderly Health, Cloud Policy in Healthcare, Climate Health, Rehabilitation, Healthcare Industry 4.0 and more.
In the last two years, HealthIL has been expanding and deepening its activities, promoting models and activities for collaborations in Europe, mapping and making resources accessible, working across sectors with additional significant stakeholders (corporations, investors), while simultaneously deepening activities in Israel.

Job Description and Areas of Responsibility
This strategic position plays a central role in shaping healthcare innovation across national and global landscapes. The position involves close collaboration with innovation centers across 65 Israeli healthcare organizations and international partners. The successful candidate will drive strategic innovation initiatives, maximize value creation, enhance economic impact, and optimize innovation processes within these organizations.
Areas of Responsibility
Lead strategic innovation management initiatives across healthcare organizations, providing comprehensive guidance and implementation support
Drive sustainable growth and operational excellence within designated innovation centers
Develop and nurture a robust global network of partners and funding opportunities for healthcare organizations
Orchestrate the Healthcare Innovation Managers Forum, facilitating knowledge exchange and coordinating impactful local and global initiatives
Initiate national level initiatives that benefit all healthcare organizations
Job Requirements
Threshold Requirements - Mandatory (meeting one threshold requirement is sufficient, applications not meeting threshold requirements will not be answered)
Minimum 3 years of experience with innovation or innovation management in large public entities like governmental agencies, regulatory bodies, hospitals or HMOs, with proven success in driving cross-functional operations and process management
Additional Requirements
Proficient Hebrew and English writing and verbal - mandatory! (will be tested as a condition for job acceptance)
Knowledge in healthcare economic and value assessment
Independent management ability and quick learning
High integration capability and excellent interpersonal skills (excellent ability to motivate people - no less!)
Long-term process management and multitasking
Strategic long-term thinking capability alongside practical execution
Ability to maintain daily interpersonal contact with a large number of people and high synchronization capability
Full-time position, offices in Tel Aviv, Flexibility to work partially from home.
